KMBI believes that poverty alleviation is a result of holistic transformation.  It also believes that holistic transformation is not possible without synergy.  Thus, the reason we are called “Kabalikat” - a Tagalog term which means “partner”.  KMBI recognizes that poverty alleviation can only be achieved through synergistic efforts with the government, private sector, civil society, church, media and individuals.  With this premise, we continue to seek partnerships and encouraging others to join us in the crusade of seeing holistic transformation happening in the lives of individuals, families, communities, and eventually, the nation.

Aside from engaging into microfinance, KMBI helps its members through non financial services. We provide enterprise development, livelihood training, and values formation.  We also engage into green activities such as cleanliness drive, tree planting activities, and partnership with organizations advocating for the care of the environment.

If you wish to help in our advocacy for the poor and increase the people who will have access to microfinance and other non-financial services, the gift of time and money will be much appreciated.
