Have you been sick for an extended period of time? Have you experienced the hopelessness of having physicians do all sorts of tests and treatments, charge huge medical bills, and leave you worse for all their doings?

Bishop Dalino shared a story of a woman from Luke 8:40-48. Here, we can find the story of a woman who had been subject to bleeding for 12 consecutive years. This made her hopeless and broken. She came up behind Jesus and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.

Jesus immediately asked who touched him. Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

Every person desires to possess inner peace and security. There are many factors in life which may rob us of such peace. One of these is sickness. It is difficult to maintain inner peace when one is plagued by serious illness. The mind is filled with uncertainty and despair.

Bishop shared his experiences battling the cancer and how the Lord made a way to improve his health until present. He was given a span of 3 months upon diagnosis. He was amazed how God gave a miracle of allowing him to be sent in Raffles Hospital, a Cancer Centre, in Singapore where he was given a scholarship of full treatment and surgery.

At present, he is undergoing the 12th cycle of his Oral Chemotherapy and is under monitoring. He said “God is so gracious and merciful in extending my life and for providing funds for my roundtrip air ticket from manila to Singapore.” He is also grateful that God allowed him to do his passions like preach and do farming once again.

The support of his family and KMBI family portrayed a great role in his journey. His wife, and his children gave him the outmost support during this tough endeavor of his life. And most of all, his Faith, which was tested by waters was never shaken. For he knows, Ephesians 3:20 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”
