Kabalikat para sa Maunlad na Buhay, Inc. (KMBI) has received reports that a certain Ms. Jacqueline N. Mateo from Valenzuela City is allegedly soliciting investments from the public to operate a 'small time loan operation' . The alleged 'small time loan operation' promises an 8% weekly interest and encourages investors to deposit their money to a personal bank account under the name of a certain "Mr. Leonilo M. Nario, Jr.".

For the information of the public, Mr. Leonilo M. Nario Jr., former Program Officer of Valenzuela Branch is no longer connected with KMBI. Mastermind, Ms. Jacqueline N. Mateo was never an employee, agent or representative of KMBI. The acts of the mentioned individuals in soliciting funds and investments from the public are without knowledge, consent and authority from the management of KMBI. These acts are seriously prejudicial to the interest of KMBI’s legitimate clients, partners and stakeholders.

In view thereof, the public, including all KMBI staff and clients are hereby advised to exercise self restraint from investing their money into such investment schemes and to take the necessary precautions in dealing with this kind of transactions. KMBI will take the necessary legal recourse to protect the interest of its legitimate clients and its proprietary rights.
