KMBI Conducts Retreat Nationwide

All KMBI staff nationwide allocated a slice of their time to reinforce their personal, corporate, and most especially spiritual growth with the ‘Spiritual Retreat’ that took place from June to July 2016.

The event, bearing the theme “A family that stays together,” aims to deepen their relationship with God by intentionally reflecting and meditating, strengthen their fellowship with one another as one KMBI family through shared experiences, and take time to retreat from their normal activities.

It’s events like this that continue to forge and bolster harmonious relationship between the people in KMBI who are overflowing with work enthusiasm and spiritual wellbeing.

The first day was jam-packed with lectures from Ms. Amelita P. Andilab, the Regional Operations Director for Visayas and Mindanao. She led a refreshing discussion on how to set goals and improve self-awareness & identity to reach one’s full potential.

The attendees also partook in group reporting and dramatization, which served as a reflection for personal growth and development. In the afternoon, Rev. Ronilio Retondo imparted God’s message to further renew their faithful servitude to the Lord.

The night was enlivened with a showcase of talents in the form of chorale, dance and song interpretation, and Bible story reenactment, followed by a praise and worship.

Kicking off the next day was Bible devotion conducted per branch, centering on the passage, “The Lord is my Shepherd.” It was succeeded by a team-building activity in which they developed physical discipline and brought forth the spirit of sportsmanship, cooperation, unity, and fun in the learning process.

The last part of the activity was the awarding ceremony led by Ms. Grace M. Asedillo, the Area Manager. She lauded the best-performing staff for their achievements, gave the best in branch presentation to General Santos 2, and hailed the green team as the team-building champion. Meanwhile, the Koronadal and Tacurong branches received the best in sports attire.

It was not only an activity intended to break the daily activities of staff members in SOCCKSARGEN, but it was also a renewal of faith that radiated the spirit of compassion and perseverance within them.
