Staff and Clients Celebrate KMBI's 31st Anniversary

KMBI held its 31st anniversary celebration last November 24, 2017, marking another milestone of God's faithfulness to the organization.

Highlighting the celebration was the recognition of 25 outstanding KMBI Program Members through the appreciation activities which spanned from November 22-25, 2017. The Program Members were housed at Sequoia Hotel in Quezon City for the duration of the event and received intensive business training and workshops.

Included also in the appreciation activities is the exposure visit to the KMBI Head Office in Valenzuela City & nearby branches and a center house in Tandang Sora Branch. The Program Members were also taken for a tour around Manila.

On the anniversary date, selected KMBI Head Office staff reached out to women inmates of Valenzuela City Jail. Around 240 inmates received early Christmas gifts through personal hygiene and food kits. The organization also distributed 5 units of PureIt Water Filter, 10 Stand Fans and 50 Monoblock chairs to improve the overall conditions of the area. KDFI Program Director, Mr. Reginold delos Reyes, shared the gospel to the participants.

The celebration of KMBI's 31st anniversary for the Head Office staff concluded in the afternoon at the Panay Office with a food bazaar & games, fellowship, and group presentations. Rev. Jebo Banzuelo imparted God's Words through the central verse of Philippians 1:6.

Simultaneously, all branches celebrated KMBI's 31st year through fellowship and other fun activities.

The anniversary celebration aims to enhance the personal valuing of staff by appreciating their collective hard work in continuing the mission and vision of the organization.

Luzon Region Mounts Spiritual Retreat and Sports Fest

Around 500 staff from Luzon operations gathered together to celebrate oneness and unity as a family during the Luzon Regional Staff Spiritual Retreat and Sports Fest at Facundo Farms and Resort, Magalang, Pampanga last October 14-15, 2017.

With the theme: “Me & My Family: Serving Joyfully, Leading Faithfully,” the activity was graced by Pastor Emiliano David. He highlighted three God-given resources needed to build a strong family: 1) His Word; 2.) His Works; and 3.) His Wonderful Gifts.

Pastor Emiliano further reminded the staff that the ultimate recipient of our services is no other than God, and leadership is not a position, but a function.

The first day concluded with a dinner fellowship with accents of bohemian motif. The evening session kicked off with a per-area singing competition and awarding of the Mr. and Ms. Face of the Night.

All staff geared up for the regional sports fest the following day. Seven areas raised their banners and altogether trooped to Magalang Sports Complex to officially commence the series of tournaments.

The activity for Luzon staff capped off the series of retreats mounted by KMBI to meet the strategic direction of developing faith-based outlook and values of people, enhancing personal valuing, and building close and healthy relationships.
