KMBI Key Officers Gather for Annual Assembly, BOM Training

All KMBI Branch Managers, Area Managers, Program Unit Heads, Branch Accountants, and Head Office officers convened for the 2017 General Assembly (GA) side by side with the orientation and training on the revised Branch Operations Manual (BOM) at the Sequoia Hotel, Quezon City from January 23-26, 2017.

The GA was a half-day gathering of officers intended to officially cascade down to the branch level all the operational plans deliberated by the Management Team last November. The assembly also seeked to inform all KMBI staff with branch expansions, new policies and programs, and major activities for 2017 as the organization intensifies its operations in the years ahead.

Next in line was the series of BOM orientations that stretched to three full days of extensive discussion. Participants of the GA were divided into three clusters, each guided by KMBI President and Vice-Chairman Mr. Eduardo C. Jimenez, Deputy Executive Director for the Clients Services Group Ms. Hazel Christine Bayaca, and Acting Manager for Client Transformation Division, Mr. Timothy John Pasicolan.

Mr. Pasicolan, lead manual developer of the BOM, expressed his enthusiasm for the recently concluded BOM orientation.

“The BOM is a product of months of reviewing, consulting, and revising. We hope that this activity will guarantee a 100% implementation of new systems and policies, particularly in our Group Loan Program if we’re talking about nationwide operations” he stated.

The BOM is a guidebook with operational policies and processes geared towards enhancing the sustainability of the organization to achieve its objectives stated in “Paghandom sa Damlag: Vision 2020”, the organization’s five-year business plan.

The Clients Services and Credit Operations Group joined forces in spearheading the Wellness Caravan 2016 last December 13, 2016 at the Mabolo Gymnasium, Cebu City, to promote good health and proper sanitation to 400 Program Members from Cebu North and Mandaue Branches.

The whole-day affair, dubbed as “Wellness Caravan 2016: Isang Pamilya Tayo Ngayong Pasko”, was filled with talks relating to health and wellness, zumba session, and medical consultation.

The Wellness Caravan is one of KMBI’s flagship projects under the Health and Sanitation program. It seeks to promote physical well-being, provide learning opportunities among Program Members to learn more about wellness, gain deeper interaction with clients and staff, and improve the lives of clients.
